SchoolStatus Admin and Staff can create a publicly viewable announcement or Smore newsletter that can be shared via Social Media. In order to make announcements publicly viewable and send newsletters at all you need to ensure that you have toggled on the Allow Teachers to send Public Broadcasts in your School Settings.
Here are the steps for School Admin to enable teachers to send Public Broadcasts and Smore Newsletters.
(1) Click on the Context Selector drop-down and select the right School
(2) Click the 3 black dots on your School header
(3) Click Settings
(4) Under Classroom Communications check the box beside Allow teachers to send Public Broadcasts
(5) Click Update School
