SchoolStatus Connect now allows leaders and teachers to reuse Announcements they sent in the past and edit them. One of the most requested features in the past years.
This article will discuss how users can reuse past announcements, including all of their attachments, as the starting point of the new Announcement
Note: Announcements from an archived class can still be used. Please refer to this article on how to view your archived class.
Reusing Past Announcements
On the Home page, search for the Announcement you’d like to reuse
1. Click the 3 black dots
2. Click Reuse
Edit the Announcement, add content if needed, or post it as it is. Dates, links, and other outdated information in the body must be updated.
3. Select which one or multiple classrooms to send the new announcement to
4. Click Send, Send Later, or Preview
Editing Past Announcements
On the Home page, search for the Announcement you’d like to reuse
1. Click the 3 black dots
2. Click Edit
Edit the Announcement, add content if needed, or post it as it is. Dates, links, and other outdated information in the body must be updated.
3. Click Update
