With SchoolStatus Connect, via the Settings of your Announcements you are able to manage how your audience can interact with your announcements and in what forms they get sent out.SchoolStatus Connect understands that School Leaders need to send Announcements to parents and students in different ways depending on their importance and urgency.This article will explain how to alter and navigate the Announcement Settings.
Note: SchoolStatus Connect delivers communications to families, based on their preferred languages with automated translation into over 100 languages and channels: email or SMS in addition to app, web, and even paper that can be printed with one click.
Note: When creating an announcement the audience needs to be chosen first in order to have the applicable option of settings
To access your Announcement settings:
1. Click on the plus
2. Select Announcement
3. Chose your Audience
4. Select the gear icon

Voice Broadcasts are pre-recorded audio messages delivered as phone calls and part of a school-wide or district-wide announcement. ClassTag tracks real-time data on whether a message was delivered, started, and listened to completion. |

Public Broadcast | Accessible to the public for everyone to see. | The announcement will be publicly viewable by anyone with the link. Parents will be able to see it without logging in. |
