Navigating Engagement Logs

With SchoolStatus Connect, you can log all interactions that you have with a Student’s Guardian. Phone calls and messages are logged automatically but you are also able to manually add interactions into your engagement log. This way, if you ever need to track or recall an interaction they are all stored in one place. This article will explain how to access and navigate the engagement log.

1. Click on the Home Feed Filter and select the context/page
2. Select Directory
3. Search for Student you are looking for by typing their name in the search box
4. Select the Student

5. Click the Report Icon

You will see a list of your interactions including the:

• Date they occurred
• The Creator
• Mode of Engagement
• Notes

To create a new log, click on Add New

1. Click the drop-down and select the Mode of Engagement
2. Add notes
3. If necessary click Add to add an Attachment
4. Click Create

You will be able to select a file from your device and click Open

Once the attachment is uploaded they will appear in the log

Once it's created it will be added to the top of the list of Engagement Logs

To open any simply click on the log, and the log details will appear and slide out from the right
