Newsletters powered by Smore can either be Published, Drafts or saved with ‘Unpublished changes’. This article will explain the difference between Drafts and newsletters saved with ‘Unpublished Changes’.
Note: All changes made are saved and secure without clicking ‘Preview and Share’. To see your more recent changes simply open ‘The Editor’ of the newsletter.
Drafts
Drafts are newsletters that have been started but not yet published at all.
This means that a user has begun editing a newsletter but has left The Editor without clicking on Preview and Share.
If you click the Arrow (A) you will be taken back to the My Newsletters page.
In the My Newsletters page or in a specific folder the preview will appear grayed out with the word Draft written across the thumbnail.
The recent changes are saved but they may not be viewable on this thumbnail.
To continue working on a newsletter, hover over the newsletter and click Edit.
Once in The Editor your recent work will appear.
To continue working on a newsletter, hover over the newsletter and click Edit.
Newsletters with Unpublished Changes
Newsletters with unpublished changes, are newsletters where a user has clicked preview and share previously, but have since made changes to the newsletter in The Editor without clicking preview and share.
In the ‘My Newsletters’ page or in a specific folder the preview will appear with the word unpublished Changes written across the thumbnail.
To complete the newsletter hover over the newsletter and click Edit.
