Setting up your classroom is very quick and easy whether it is your first one or you have done it many times before. Find all the key steps and tips here. This Article will cover how to create a classroom, how to access and update your class settings, how to assign your class to a school, and how to graduate a Class.
Create Your Class On SchoolStatus Connect
You can have as many classes as you need in SchoolStatus Connect after you have created your first one. As you are signing up for SchoolStatus Connect for the first time, you have the option to create your first class or a demo class.
(1) Click the Context Selector drop-down
(2) Click the School
(3) Go to Classrooms
(4) Click the three dots
(5) Click Create New Class
Now you will create your first classroom by filling out the necessary information
(6) Enter your Classroom Name
(7) Select the Grade
(8) Click Create Classroom
You will be taken straight to your Classroom's home page and see any announcements or posts relating to your school.
Also, please make sure you verify the email address after you sign up to ensure full-feature access.

Class Settings
To access your classroom settings, click the 3 black dots on the header. Here you can learn how to personalize the page's branding and update your classroom's settings.
You can configure your settings based on your preference. Don’t forget to click on the Update Class button after you make any changes on this page.

Change Your Class Avatar
The class photo will appear on every Announcement, Event, and invitation you send. This is a great way to show parents/guardians what kind of class you have by being creative in using an image or logo that represents your class.
Change Your School's Address
If you need to change the address of your school, please contact SchoolStatus Connect at support-ct@schoolstatus.com. Provide the full name of your school and the correct and complete address so we can update it for you.
Graduate Your Class
If it is that time of the year and you are looking forward to the summer, you can let everyone know that the classroom will be archived and choose to Graduate This Class. We know it can be a sad moment!
You will be taken to a further announcement page. Write a message and click Graduate
