Introduction to SchoolStatus Connect
Lesson 1: Logging into Connect (~ 2minutes)
Lesson 2: Navigating the Platform (~ 2 minutes)
Learn about the variety of tools available to you, from viewing your directory to creating communications for your audiences. You'll be delighted by the user-friendliness of SchoolStatus Connect.
Lesson 3: School Branding & Settings (~ 2 minutes)
As a school leader, you can update your school branding and settings through cover photos, quick links, colors and themes, and custom settings.
Lesson 4: Your School Directory (~ 1 minute)
Your School Directory is a list of all of your students and their guardians.
Lesson 5: Your Schools & Classrooms (~ 1 minute)
Lesson 6: Sending Announcements (~ 3 minutes)
Announcements are an easy way to send one communication out to your entire class, classes, or only select families.
Lesson 7: Creating Newsletters (~ 2 minutes)
Want to create something a little more delightful? Newsletters powered by Smore is a great way to send eye-catching communications to your select audiences.
Lesson 8: Managing Events (~ 2 minutes)
Create events and ask for volunteers! SchoolStatus has what you need to keep families in the know about all that is happening in your classroom!
Lesson 9: 2-way Conversations (~ 2 minutes)
Two-way Conversations are your key to more personalized 1:1 or Group messages. This is where the magic happens!
Lesson 10: 1:1 Phone Calls (~ 2 minutes)
Sometimes you just have to make the phone call! No worries, though. SchoolStatus Connect has taken care of that for you. This feature may not automatically be enabled for your account. Please have your admin reach out to their Customer Success Manager to have this feature enabled.
Lesson 11: Engagement Reports (~ 1 minute)
View all communications sent out from your school, read rates, which families are connected, and teacher activity.
Lesson 12: Your Personal Settings (~ 1 minute)
SchoolStatus Connect allows you to choose how you want to receive notifications. You can update your personal account settings at any time.
