Your contact details in SchoolStatus Connect are managed by your school or district. If you notice something is incorrect, such as your email address or phone number, you’ll need to reach out to your district to request an update.
Under your Profile -> Account Settings tab, you will see the following message:
Once your information is updated in the district’s Student Information System (SIS), it will automatically reflect in Connect. This usually takes no more than a couple of days.
Need to update your email or phone number?
In some cases, updating your email or phone number may require the district to create a new account for you. If you can no longer log in using your previous credentials:
- Try resetting your password.
- Use the “Check for an existing invitation” feature to access your updated account.
Request Contact Info Updates During Account Setup & From your Account Settings
We are introducing a new feature to make it easier for users to request updates to their contact information when they first log into SchoolStatus Connect.
When this is enabled by your district, users who notice incorrect contact details (like phone number or email) during their first login or in their Account Settings can now submit a request directly to the district to fix the issue in the Student Information System (SIS). Once the district updates the SIS, the changes will automatically sync to Connect.
💡 Important Notes: Districts can now manage this feature directly in the admin tools, including the option to enable or disable user-submitted update requests. A new section also allows districts to view and manage incoming requests. If your district hasn’t enabled this feature, please contact your school directly.
If you’re still able to log in to your account and would like to request changes to your contact information, you can do so from your Account Settings page by submitting a request there.
For privacy and security reasons, Connect cannot make direct contact updates. Please contact your school or district for assistance.
