Users can log in on SchoolStatus Connect using either an email address or a mobile number. We strongly recommend downloading the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store to make it easier for you to receive notifications.
Before anyone can log into SchoolStatus Connect, there’s a need to be added first by the School or District Admin.
For Teachers and School Admins:
There is currently no option for Teachers and School Admins to create a SchoolStatus Connect account and log in using a mobile number. There are several ways that you can login. You will need to refer to your school or District to know which method was used to create your account so that you know which method to use when logging in. If you prefer to use your mobile number to log in to SchoolStatus Connect after completing your profile, please follow these steps.
- Log in on SchoolStatus Connect using your email address and password.
- Click the drop-down arrow beside your profile avatar.
- Click the Gear icon to go to “Account Settings”.
- Click "Account Settings" under "My Profile".
- Click "Mobile Phone"
- Enter you mobile number.
- An SMS will be sent with the 4-digit code that you need to use.
- Enter the 4-digit code and click “Verify”
- A confirmation that your mobile number has been successfully verified will be shown at the top of the page.
For Parents:
You can sign up on SchoolStatus Connect using your mobile number by clicking on the link in the SMS invitation.
Once clicked, it will open a page where you can create a password. Once you are signed up, you can now log in on SchoolStatus Connect using your mobile number.
If you didn’t receive an SMS message from SchoolStatus Connect to sign up for an account using your mobile number, please do any of the following:
- Ask your child’s teacher to add your mobile number to their class on SchoolStatus Connect. This will trigger the system to send you an SMS message.
- If you received an email invitation to join SchoolStatus Connect using your email address or you didn’t receive anything at all (maybe the teacher doesn’t have your information yet), contact your child's teacher to add you to your child's account.
- You may complete your profile on SchoolStatus Connect first by clicking on the link in the email invitation.
If you are not receiving the invite link, check for an existing invitation:
- Go to SchoolStatus Connect sign in page
- Click Check for an existing invitation.
- Enter your email or mobile number and click Check For Invitation
- A new invitation will be sent to your entered email if the account exists
NOTE: Users need to be added to the School or District to create a profile. If you did not receive an invite or not sure which credential was used, you may reach out to the teacher or school admin to confirm which information was added.
