Actions to take if a parent has trouble logging in.
If a user reports that they cannot log in to SchoolStatus Connect, the recommended first step is to reset their password. Please ask the user to reset their password.

If the user does not receive the password reset email or SMS, please email connect@schoolstatus.com with the user’s name and login credentials (email address or mobile number).
You may check the Directory tab for the user's credentials.
“You Are Not Authorized to See That Page” Error
Sometimes a user may receive an email or SMS notification and, after clicking the link in the message, they may be taken to the login page with the message:
Why this happens
This usually occurs when:
- The user is not currently logged in to SchoolStatus Connect, or
- The user is logged in to a different account than the one associated with the communication.
How to resolve it
- Open the SchoolStatus Connect app.
- Log out of the current account.
- Log back in using the correct account associated with the message.
- Return to the email/SMS notification and open the link again.
If the issue continues
If the user is still unable to access the communication after logging back in, contact support for further assistance.
