Communications in SchoolStatus Connect are determined by users' preferences. This way users can be contacted via the channel they most prefer.
Once users create an account in SchoolStatus Connect, they will be able to add contact information and select the preferred Notification Method.
- Click the Dropdown next to your Avatar
- Select the Gear icon
- Choose Communication Preferences
- Click the dropdown below Notification Method.
- Users have the option to set it to Email + App, SMS + App, App Only, or None.
Notes:
- SMS is currently enabled for cell phone numbers in the US and Canada.
- To avoid sending and/or receiving too many notifications, users can only select either Email or SMS and not both.
