As you may have heard, ClassTag was acquired by SchoolStatus in 2023. On February 1, 2024, ClassTag officially became SchoolStatus Connect.
As a result of these changes, we are sad to announce that Free, Basic ClassTag and individual teacher subscriptions expired on July 1, 2024 which also affects the ability for free users to sign in.
Why can't I sign in to my account?
On July 1, 2024, all free ClassTag user accounts expired along with the ability to sign in.
*If, for some reason, you can still access your account, please be aware that you may lose access to your free account at any moment.
Why can I sign in, but not access certain schools or classrooms?
Some users that are part of a paying SchoolStatus Connect school, may also be attached to other Basic schools or classrooms that are not connected to a school at all. Example: A user is associated with 3 classrooms from a SchoolStatus Connect school, and 2 classes from a Basic school.
In October, 2024, access was restricted to all classrooms that are either NOT associated with a school, or are connected to a Basic school. These schools and classrooms may be deleted soon. If you believe this is a mistake, and these classrooms should be connected to your SchoolStatus Connect school or district, please reach out to our support team at connect@schoolstatus.com.
What if I need to access something from my account?
If you need temporary access to retrieve files from your account, please contact our support team at connect@schoolstatus.com. Please note that we will delete all free accounts sometime in September.
How can I keep using SchoolStatus Connect?
