As a SchoolStatus Connect Leader, you have full control over your school and the classes connected to your school on SchoolStatus Connect. This includes the ability to post an Announcement to each classroom.
SENDING SCHOOLWIDE ANNOUNCEMENTS ON SCHOOLSTATUS CONNECT
When visiting any of the connected classrooms where you are also a teacher, you will be able to send a multi-classroom announcement.
We know there are times when you need to send information to the entire school. As a school leader, you may want to send a welcome message, inform everyone about a school event, or give a notice about a school closure. Instead of going to each class and posting the same Announcement, SchoolStatus Connect now makes it easier to post a school-wide Announcement that displays on both your school page and each classroom page in just a few clicks!

(1) Log in on SchoolStatus Connect
(2) Click on the Context Selector drop-down
(3)Click your school’s name
**You will be directed to your school’s Home Page
(4) Click the green plus on the upper right side of the page
(5) Click Announcement
(6) Fill out the Announcement. Enter the title of the announcement and the message you want to send. You can also add files, photos, or videos to your Announcement.
(7) Click Preview so you can review the content of your Announcement.
(8) Send the Announcement
Note: You have an option to allow parents to respond to the email notifications they will receive with this announcement.
** If you select “Allow Email Replies”, the reply will be sent directly to you (or to whoever created the Announcement). The response will be sent in the conversation (or messages inbox) on the school page.
** If it's not toggled on, parents will not be able to respond to the notification.
To set this up, on the page where the announcement is created, click on the gear icon across the "To line":
Note: The announcement will appear on the Classes Home-Pages that are connected to the school
Sending the Announcement to a few classrooms only
- If you want to send the announcement to a few classrooms only, please click the pencil icon across the To Line, then once you see the recipients list, choose Classrooms, the School, and then the grade levels. On each grade level chosen, click on the arrow to specify which classrooms you need to make the announcement for. Lastly, click Update
